About

My obsession with Archie McPhee is legendary.  My obsession with the rubber chicken began shortly after opening the latest incarnation of my blog — Dyslexic Chicken (think about it long enough after viewing the site and you’ll get it).  Anyhoo, sometime in April I was out shopping with The Boy (aka my husband) and we happened to pass by a store called Reminiscence.  While treasure hunting around, I found my heart’s desire, a full sized rubber chicken.  Moments, and $9, later The Rubber Chicken Project was born (with a touch of inspiration from my long time favorite, the Mirror Project).

The Boy thinks I’m insane.  We’ll have to see what the rest of you think.  But for now, allow me to present the very first photo of RDC (“Rubber Dyslexic Chicken”) at his birthplace.  Visit often to follow his adventures.  Should you have a rubber chicken of your own and you wish to send a photo, please do.  I might even post it here, so long as it’s no more than 400 pixels in length.

  1. ha Rubber Dyslexic Chicken
I am writing a book about being dyslexic (Allotrilexic is what I call myself) . Perhaps “Rubber Dyslexic Chicken” would like to play a cameo. I think that he would fit in nicely on the page that saws “they live all around us just wait you will see”

Take a boo at my blog there is a sample of the book posted http://tinamcinerney.wordpress.com/educational-tools/ let me know what you think…

    Thanks Tina
